Fun Facts To Know About The Groovie Ghoulies:

A: They love to rock and they love the road!
They love to rock and it shows! Every show is treated as an event, and that probably explains why they have been asked to play everything from Lollapalooza, Hootenanny, Halloween with the Cramps, and the California State Capitol, right on down to birthday parties, Garage Sale A Go-Go, and even a Roger Corman lecture! They love the road and since 1997 they have done 7 U.S. tours, 2 Canadian tour, and 3 European tours!! The rest of the world cannot be far behind!

B: It's more than monsters, it's a celebration of culture!
Beyond their B-movie, rock, and punk influences, the Ghoulies make the most of the touring life. They have forsaken the tired rock stereotypes of drugs and self-destruction to go to Mount Rushmore, Graceland, Roswell, or hang out with other bands like the Muffs in Washington, DC, The Donnas at Gatorland, climb the Empire State Building, sail to the Statue of Liberty, or walk the walls of Niagara Falls. They listen to late night talk show host Art Bell when driving til' dawn, then welcome the new day with tunes by Neils Young and Diamond!

C: They're not just fans, they're family!
Although it's nothing like a Kiss or Rob Zombie show, the Ghoulies decorate the stage with a few toys and things to provide themselves and the crowd a level of comfort and familiarity. Prizes are often thrown, requests are often taken, and the venue becomes a meeting hall for the Ghoulie family reunion!!

D: They're not just musicians, they're music fans!
The Ghoulies love music, they love their fans, and they also love other bands! They've been fortunate enough to tour with Chixdiggit!, The Donnas, The Mr. T Experience, The Muffs, the Queers, and more!! They catch other bands on their days off, and they try to make their own live show one they themselves would want to see!
