SERVOTRON is Lookout!'s first robot band. I never imagined that I would sign a band made up entirely of non-humans; it's sort of like putting out a record by an automobile. Strange as it seemed, I was really taken by SERVOTRON, their music has a certain balance and mathematical perfection aside from their calculatedly infectious melodies, unusual in most rock groups full of fleshy real people. Bio

People are always speeding up or slowing down the tempo, and can't ever play precisely the same thing twice. Robots and even cyborgs are just so much more effective, and these days everyone knows it. That's why there are all sorts of people in our modern age trying to sound like machines but that doesn't interest me because more often than not, it doesn't even sound like music—just like a bunch of drills and doorbells. I like SERVOTRON because they are robots and they make rock 'n' roll.—Christopher Appelgren
