Anchored by married duo Cinder and Jeffrey, TILT delivers their sweet-and-sour, edgy melodic punk with a full dose of spot-on lyrical genius from alterna-diva Cinder. The two relocated midwesterners teamed up with ex-CRIMPSHRINE bassist Pete Rypins and suave drummer Vince Camacho, and, through many shows at Gilman Street, Your Place Too, and Fraggle's house parties, wowed the jaded East Bay with their relentlessly melodic yet hard-edged punk music and their nervously energetic live shows. After releasing a demo tape that charted for a solid month at local college station KALX, TILT recorded their first 7"EP, a self-titled gem that firmly established their trademark tuneful yet thought-provoking songs.
